Position Summary
The Recruiter is responsible for delivering all facets of recruiting success throughout the organization and assists in promoting a strong employment brand while ensuring a positive candidate experience through high, quality engagement. The recruiter focuses primarily on filling hourly positions.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sourcing plans employing traditional sourcing strategies and resources as well as developing new, creative recruiting ideas.
- This includes traveling to US towns and cities that have been identified as potential sources of applicants (at minimum, once monthly).
- Efficiently and effectively fill open positions by defining needs, developing, and maintaining successful ongoing relationships with hiring managers.
- Develop recruiting material, including but not limited to job postings, flyers, and social media posts.
- Review applications to meet position requirements.
- Coordinate interview process assessing candidate qualifications via phone screens and interviews and provide feedback and recommendations to hiring managers.
- Complete new hire paperwork accurately and make job offers for organization.
- Compose and mail rejection letters.
- Represent organization at Job Fairs.
- Perform other special projects as assigned.
Qualifications
- One or more years of experience in Recruiting
- Experience in Beef industry a plus
- Employment law knowledge in the areas of employment, ADA, and FLSA
- Computer Skills – Microsoft Office, Internet, social media
- Demonstrated ability to develop rapport and communicate effectively with a variety of people at all levels and cultures
- Ability to synthesize information quickly and efficiently
- Must be 18 years of age and authorized to work in the United States
- Must pass pre-employment and random drug tests to be eligible for employment
- Obeys company safety rules and exercise caution in all work activities
- Ability to travel to other locations and have valid driver’s license
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately
- Bi-lingual required. Spanish & English.
Physical Demands
- Ability to see, sit, stand, hear, bend, walk, and talk for 8-10 hours per day
- Ability to lift 20 pounds
