The role of the Field Service Technician will be to support our printer and copier customer base in the Aberdeen Area with flexibility to travel to nearby towns upon occasion.

Major Goals and Responsibilities:

  • Provide an outstanding customer experience through great communication and support.
  • Perform field repairs and maintenance on various office equipment to manufacturers specifications
  • Travel from one customer site to the next using company vehicle (primarily in Pierre, SD)
  • Manage your day completing service calls to meeting customer expectations and company processes
  • Maintain accurate repair records for time, part, and company assets
  • Manage your car stock inventory
  • Performs other duties as directed by Service Management
  • Ability to make decisions, use the tools available and the resources of others to accomplish objectives
  • Able to work comfortably with a variety of customers and associates
  • Flexible attitude and versatility in learning
  • High level of comfort using computers, tablets, phones, or other handheld devices

Qualification and Education Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Background in electronics and/or mechanical devices a plus
  • Vocational Technical education is helpful
  • Natural mechanical or electronic ability
  • Clean driving record and valid driver’s license

Compensation:  Starting at $19.00 with no prior experience

This position is eligible for a monthly bonus, as well as a quarterly bonus.
