Aberdeen, SD – July 15, 2025 – The Aberdeen Public Schools Foundation is pleased to announce the establishment of the Class of 1975 Endowment, a significant initiative aimed at addressing the greatest needs of students and staff within the Aberdeen Public School District. This endowment represents a powerful commitment to enhancing educational opportunities and resources for all learners in our community.
 
The Class of 1975 has come together to create this lasting legacy, ensuring that future generations of students can thrive in an environment that fosters learning and growth. Once fully funded, the endowment will provide vital support to programs and initiatives that directly benefit the educational experience, whether through innovative classroom projects, essential resources, or support for educators.
 
“Our Aberdeen Central High Class of 1975 received an excellent, well-rounded education,” said Bill Sauck, a member of the Class of 1975. “We formed knowledge and life skills that have served us well over the years. Also, many friendships were established among our classmates that are still going strong today. We are certainly thankful to our teachers and staff.”
“Strong schools are important for communities. It is essential to support our Aberdeen Public Schools as they continue to provide an outstanding education to all students,” said Sauck.
